Process

Simple loop: align → build → test → repeat.

01
Scope

Define the target

Goal, constraints, timeline, success metrics. We'll recommend the fastest path to a useful first output.

02
Prototype

Build the first pass

Prints, parts, or garments — optimized for learning, not perfection. Fast turnaround, no gold-plating.

03
Validate

Test in context

Fit and function checks, revision notes, documented decision points. Iterate until it's right.

04
Produce

Small batch

Repeatable outputs, basic QC, and clean handoff for parts or apparel. Ready to scale on your timeline.

FAQ

What file types do you accept?

STL, OBJ, STEP, and 3MF for 3D printing. AI, PDF, or EPS for screen printing artwork. Embroidery files (DST, PES) or high-res raster for digitizing. If you have something else, send it — we'll figure it out.

What's the minimum order for apparel?

Screen printing typically requires a minimum of 12 pieces per design due to setup costs. Embroidery can go lower. We'll be upfront about minimums when you reach out.

How long does a typical turnaround take?

Simple 3D prints can be same-day or next-day depending on queue. Prototyping projects with iteration cycles are typically 3–7 days. Apparel runs depend on quantity and complexity — usually 1–3 weeks after artwork approval.

Can you help if I don't have a file yet?

Yes — if you have a sketch, photo, or rough description, we can help with CAD cleanup or print-ready prep. For apparel, we can work from mockups or reference images.

What's the connection to SpaceWare Systems?

The Forge is the manufacturing hub within the SpaceWare ecosystem. For deeper R&D or software-linked projects, we coordinate with Labs. Your project stays consistent across the whole system.
